How I work…
My work and study has been in systems of power and influence—and how we collectively reimagine our communities.
I believe equity, inclusion, and anti-racism should be centered. I know my learning and change will never be complete—it’s a daily practice to root out one's own prejudice.
I strive to remain open and humble to how I perpetuate inequities and seek collaboration in how to create solutions where the most impacted thrive.
Some questions that permeate my work are:
Who is being impacted?
How are they being impacted?
Who suffers—and benefits—from a policy, culture, or system?
Who is being centered in creating solutions to a problem?
